Frequently Asked Questions
Specific answers about the Premium Water Test.
How does the testing process work?
Step 1: We mail a sample collection kit directly to your home. You collect a water sample following the simple instructions provided and mail it back to our lab using the prepaid shipping label.
Step 2: Once our ANAB-accredited partner lab (ETR Laboratories) processes your sample, we email you a comprehensive, easy-to-understand breakdown of the full technical report.
Why should I upgrade from Basic to Premium?
The Premium test significantly expands testing to include dozens of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and industrial chemicals. This is highly recommended if you live near busy roads, gas stations, factories, or agricultural areas where runoff might occur.
Do I need special tools to collect the sample?
No. Our kit includes everything you need. You'll just need to carefully fill the provided sample vials according to the straightforward instructions and ship them back using the prepaid label.
Are these results valid for real estate transactions?
While our results are highly accurate and use EPA methodologies, some local jurisdictions require chain-of-custody sampling by an independent 3rd party for official real estate closing documents. Check with your realtor.
